John White

President and CEO

Appointed Chief Executive Officer of NetSocket in March 2011, John White brings significant experience as an executive and leader in the telecommunications industry. Skilled in operations and sales management at both successful startups and large high-tech enterprises, White is responsible for directing NetSocket's strategic direction and growth with large enterprises and cloud service providers, delivering value to customers through the implementation of NetSocket’s real-time service assurance (RISA), next-generation service-level agreement (SLA) management, and business intelligence offers.

Previously, White held executive positions with IBM and AT&T/Avaya Communications. His key experiences in executive sales leadership include responsibility for organizations exceeding $600 million in revenue, as well as leading large infrastructure outsourcing transactions valued from $50 million to $1.5 billion. He also has held executive positions and driven growth at successful startups such as airBand Communications and Contact Software International.

White holds a B.S., with a dual major in computer science and philosophy, from Duke University and an MBA, with a concentration in marketing and corporate finance, from Southern Methodist University.

Ken Lewis

Founder, COO

As Chief Operating Officer, Ken Lewis focuses on achieving NetSocket’s overarching goal of improving the quality of emerging real-time voice and video network services as they are transported over the Internet. Prior to co-founding NetSocket, Lewis was President and CEO of Chiaro Networks, Ltd., a Richardson, Texas-based start-up that developed and marketed a high-capacity core router for the service provider industry. Chiaro achieved several industry firsts in improving the reliability of core routers.

Before Chiaro, Lewis served in a variety of progressive management roles over a 20-year period at Alcatel USA, including Senior Vice President of the Transmission Products division. In that role, he was responsible for the complete transmission product line of the merged Alcatel Network Systems and DSC businesses. He oversaw a team of more than 1,500 members with annual sales in excess of $1 billion. He also held management positions in product planning, product line management, and strategic planning at Alcatel.

Lewis holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Alabama and an M.S. in business from the University of Texas at Dallas. He received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2000.

Carey Parker

Founder and Vice President, Marketing and Products

With more than 20 years in networking and communications, Parker focuses on creating and delivering service visibility solutions for real-time IP services such as Unified Communications (UC), VoIP, Telepresense Video, and misssion-critical services such as Trader Voice with a focus on Enterprise and Cloud Networks. Prior to co-founding NetSocket, Parker served as Vice President of Products and Marketing at Chiaro Networks and as Vice President and General Manager of the Bandwidth Manager Business Division at Alcatel Systems.

At Chiaro, he drove product strategy from conception to launch, creating a new product segment of highly available, infrastructure-class IP routing platforms that received multiple industry awards. Beyond market and product strategy, he also built Chiaro’s global marketing and product management functions in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions, which lead to the company’s initial European deployments.

Prior to Chiaro, Parker was selected as Alcatel Network Systems’ General Manager of the Bandwidth Manager Division, which had revenues of $600 million. He held technical and management positions in marketing, product management, and new product introduction and played a key role in the introduction of Alcatel's digital cross-connect system product portfolio, which amassed lifetime product revenues approaching $2 billion.

Parker holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University, where he graduated with honors and was nominated to Eta Nu, the International Honor Society for Electrical Engineers. Additionally, he has Strategic Marketing Executive education classes at California Institute of Technology.

Jeff Toney

Executive Vice President, Global Sales

Jeff brings over 24 years of sales expertise and leadership with extensive experience in building and growing start-up enterprise software companies.

Toney joined NetSocket from Ignite Technologies where he was Senior Vice President of Sales, a leader in providing secure and scalable Content Delivery Solutions enabling customers to efficiently publish, deliver, and manage digital assets.

Previously Toney was the Vice President of Strategic Sales and Business Development at Fuego, the industry pioneer in Business Process Management (BPM) software. Fuego was acquired by BEA Systems in February of 2006, where Toney accepted the responsibility of leading BEA's Global BPM sales organization, resulting in record revenue growth and the closure of BEA's first BPM software sales in China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, France, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. Before Fuego, Jeff led domestic and and international sales organizations at webMethods, Raytheon, Netscape Communications, USA Video Interactive, and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Toney holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas.

Kristin Curreri

Controller

Kristin Curreri brings more than 15 years of financial and operational experience to NetSocket.  Kristin's focus has been with consulting services.   Key areas include establishment and implementation of accounting and operations policies and procedures, full service top to bottom accounting and reporting, oversight of payroll and human resources, financial modeling, consultations and recommendations to CEOs and Board of Directors facilitating outside financing and tax compliance.

As a manager in Arthur Andersen's commercial audit practice, Kristin focused primarily on the technology space including high-tech, bio-tech as well as not-for-profit corporations.  Additionally, she has over a decade of experience with private technology companies such as NetRacke, Obtek, Contineo Systems.

Kristin graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Art History.  She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with the state of Texas.

Lance Visser

Chief Software Architect

Lance Visser has 17 years of experience in routing protocol software and operating systems. Visser served as IP/MPLS software architect for Fujitsu Network Systems, where he helped define a new generation of products.

From 1999 to 2005, he was responsible for taking the Chiaro Networks core router and its software from high–level design to customer production deployments. He architected an innovative high-availability system for the Chiaro router and was awarded several patents. Prior to 1999, he worked for Hewlett-Packard and Alcatel in the areas of high-performance computing, high-performance networking, and high availability.

Swapan Nandi

Director, Product Management

Swapan Nandi is responsible for the strategy and management of NetSocket’s product portfolio from conception to launch. He has driven the creation of solutions to the issue of service assurance for real-time IP-based services, leveraging his experience in the communications and application services segments of the industry.

Nandi has more than 20 years of experience in global product development, product management, and product strategy. He has worked with Nortel, Raze Technologies, Xybridge (acquired by Zhone), Cable & Wireless, and Siemens. His experience includes detailed design and implementation, guiding product architecture in standards bodies and with Tier 1 customers, managing domestic and international product management activities, developing product strategy, and conducting due diligence on potential partnership and M&A opportunities. At Nortel, he was responsible for product management and strategy for Nortel’s CDMA, IMS, and VoIP products.

Nandi holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from West Virginia University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
