NetSocket Acquires Operax.

PLANO, Texas – July 10, 2008 – NetSocket Inc. announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Operax, a Swedish company with expertise in dynamic resource and admission control solutions for real-time, end-to-end IP service quality.

NetSocket, the first real-time IP service assurance provider, has assembled an experienced management team, significant intellectual property, growing market traction and solid financial backing.

“The combination of NetSocket and Operax expertise provides a proven, unique, industry-first IP service assurance solution with real-time per-session visibility, resource control and correlation capabilities across multiple access network technologies,” said Ken Lewis, president and CEO of NetSocket. “As we integrate the operations of the two companies, NetSocket is committed to maintaining and building on the trust and confidence that Operax has earned as a world-class resource control solution.”

NetSocket has always had the goal of providing a complete real-time IP service assurance solution, based on its innovative Session2Topology™ correlation engine, that includes all of the elements needed to speed the broad adoption of a range of high-bandwidth IP services. The acquisition of Operax will accelerate the process of reaching that goal.

This acquisition also strengthens NetSocket’s European presence. NetSocket will use Operax’s location in Luleå, Sweden, as its European base of operations, staffed by key personnel including former Operax founders and technical staff. NetSocket looks forward to continuing the market momentum achieved by Operax and to strengthening the partner agreements and customer activities already in progress.

All existing and future technology will fall under the NetSocket banner and will be referred to in accordance with the NetSocket product and service naming conventions.
