NetSocket’s Service Visibility Solution Suite (SVSS), powered by the Session2Topology correlation engine, has three key functions:
Service Visibility Point™ (SVP) - SVP collects and correlates both session and topology information to offer real-time visibility to service performance. Combining session, network, and media awareness, SVP provides visibility and insight into the past, present, and future states of real-time IP services.
SVP™ delivers:
- forensic analysis of past problems
- quick resolution of current incidents
- an industry-unique visibility to the state of the IP network as services are delivered in real-time
Service Visibility Analyzer™ (SVA) - SVA collects and analyzes session media information (e.g., RTP packets) to offer real-time visibility into the end user’s IP services experience. SVA also provides visibility to “analog” characteristics such as echo and signal-to-noise ratio.
SVA™ provides:
- detailed forensic analysis of traffic
- quick localization of incidents
- rapid resolution to help restore service
Service Visibility Manager™ (SVM) - SVM is the element manager for SVSS and uses a Web Server to enable access to the system using industry standard web browsers.
SVM™ presents:
- collected and correlated metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- alerts, based on fine-grained thresholds set against KPI’s, upon any service quality degradation
- enhanced visualization of service characteristics via query functions and dynamic network topology mappping
